The Marine Cadets is a Detachment within Blackburn Sea Cadets Corps, the detachment has been in excitants for 4 years.
Marine Cadets are: "SERIOUS FUN"
Commitment is twice a week, some weekends, annual camp and a MoD assessment weekend.
The Challenge:
Marine Cadets train hard, work hard and play hard.

Our Aims and Goals:
To give young adults new challenges, to promote team work, to develop leadership and self discipline.
All training is done by qualified staff.
Training Information:
Training is hard but fun. You will be expected to maintain high standards.You will be trained in Fieldcrafts, Battle Skills & Weapon Skills.
Fitness plays a important part of your training and this is done on a parade night bases.
As the Marine Cadets are part of the Sea Cadets their is opportunity for Marine Cadets to take part in other training activites like canoeing and Offshore power.
Marine Cadets also have the opportunity to take part in a variety of other skills like Powerboating or even Sea Survival Training.
We also play a role within our community in Blackburn, with providing the Guard for Remembrance Day or just having fun at a Model Boat Club meeting.
